Child Rights and You (CRY) is a 44-year-old non-profit organization that works to create happier childhoods for children in India. We focus on education, health, nutrition, and the protection of children through our 102 projects spread across 19 states. Our core belief is that every child deserves a fair chance at education, regardless of gender, caste, or economic background. Therefore, we bring about lasting change for India’s children by educating parents, teachers, communities, and children themselves, leading to positive changes in behavior and practices at the grassroots level.

With no school, children engaged in substance abuse and petty crimes due to idle time. The lockdown also resulted in increased incidents of domestic violence and worsened mental health of children.
SOLUTION:
CRY aims to help these children reconnect to education by tracking, assessing, and providing support through initiatives like –
