Here’s how CRY is fighting against Child Trafficking

CRY has been working with its partners and communities across India, to ensure that underprivileged children stay safe from child trafficking. Here’s a snapshot of the work we do to empower children and communities.

Statistics on Child Trafficking in India

According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report of 2018, more than half (51%) of all trafficking victims in India were children. Shockingly, over 80% of these child victims were girls. This number is a wake-up call regarding India’s growing child trafficking crisis, making it one of the biggest fights to fight.
