Your Challenge:
CRY – Child Rights and You is India’s premier child rights NGO. We work to ensure lasting change in children’s lives by ensuring child rights through community empowerment. Your Role:
As a person in this position, you need to be highly driven, and take ownership and responsibility for the following:

  • Establishing connect with corporates in your location to identify opportunities to partner with CRY for its objectives and activities.
  • You will be responsible for acquiring new corporates and for ensuring their commitment to CRY by working closely with them to meet their child rights agenda.
  • Managing the relationship with our retention clients, communicating regularly about the work done, thereby creating long term supporters for CRY
  • Carrying out research work on the corporate segment in the region in order to create a pipeline for reach outs
  • Creating proposals and presentations, to be used as effective pitching tools while connecting to the corporates.
  • Managing the portfolio of clients to convert on income & maintain relationships; with a mix of retention & acquisition accounts.
  • Utilize various outreach methods including face-to-face meetings, emails, LinkedIn, phone calls, walk-ins, and other innovative sales strategies to connect with potential corporate donors, keeping the objective of fundraising in mind.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to secure corporate donations and partnerships.
  • Customize partnership packages to align with corporate donors’ CSR objectives and CRY’s mission.
  • Includes travel to various locations in South India for new / existing donor meetings and employee engagement events.

Position Summary:
Work closely with the SM – MEAL (North) and assist in day to day MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability & Learning) operations. He/ she will consolidate, monitor progress achieved against pre-decided indicators pertaining to CRY objectives as part of CRY’s M & E system. He/ she will generate disaggregated reports as required for various purposes.

Role of the position:

  • Familiarize with CRY online MIS data reporting system and databases and support reporting manager in cleaning, sorting, categorizing, organising and analysing data
  • Analyse project level data and support programme team with analytical reports to ensure project progress and decision-making.
  • Support project partners and programme team in proper implementation of CRY monitoring systems at project level.
  • Work in close coordination with project teams and IT to raise software related operational issues and follow through till resolution within the specified turnaround time
  • Respond to data related queries raised by project partners and provide resolution with the support of IT and programme team
  • Support reporting manager to develop, review and upgrade MEL tools, processes and systems within partners
  • Work closely with programme team and assist them in addressing M&E related issues and asks

Preferred experience, skills and competencies:

  • Minimum of six years professional experience in Development Sector in India with at least two years of experience in M&E role or managing M&E related tasks/activities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral in Hindi and English)
  • Self-starter with an excellent ability to work autonomously to identify and serve needs with minimal supervision
  • Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities while taking into consideration special assignments, frequent interruptions, deadlines and available resources

Your Role:
You will be part of the Direct Implementation team in the region. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated to deliver on systems compliance and committed to working in an independent and efficient manner.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: The job roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following only:

Coordination with HR & Consultants management:-

  • You will be coordinate with HR regarding all the recruitment and other related documentation process.
  • Coordination with consultants regarding all the documentation required for compliance.
  • Maintaining all data and records of document submitted and sharing the same as per process and timeline laid down.
  • Liasion with Finance team for all the payments related process steps.
  • Support DS-Secretary for preparing sanction note, RC approval pertaining to DI only Financial management in the FMS platform
  • Follow up with the state coordinator in the Direct Intervention project/individual consultant for Monthly work accomplishment report, Invoice for processing of consultancy fees
  • Scrutiny of the Invoice and Monthly work accomplishment report
  • Coordination with Finance and ensuring consultancy fees transfer to the consultant’s account
  • Tracking the financial expenditures as per budget guidelines of CRY.
  • Provide day-to-day financial, administrative, and logistical support to the district team, as required.
  • Track the fund request against utilization of funds over a period; highlight issues pertaining to variance to reporting manger and CRY.

R& R program management- Vendor and administrative management

  • Ensuring all legal documents from Vendor and vetting from Finance
  • Processing all the required documentation for vendor payments and management

Coordination with IT

  • Ensuring IT support to concerned consultants in collaboration with regional IT persons

Required Skill and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who is supportive, flexible and ready to take initiative and ensure that the tasks are completed on time

Qualification and Work Experience:

You:
You must be a Post – Graduate in Social Work, Sociology or Rural Development from a reputed institute. You must have 6+ years’ experience in the field of urban or rural development, having experience in planning, monitoring and evaluating projects, interfacing specially include Theory of Change / Outcome and Impact Orientation / Project formulation and management skill here. It is non-negotiable. Add Facilitation and Training skills .with the government and other stakeholders. Initiative, ability to analyze and focus on outcome will be required to fulfill the role.

You should have experience and skills in grant making role, 1. Prior exposure to child rights programming is desirable. 2. Worked In planning monitoring 2.
