Children are the foundation of our country. It is crucial to ensure that all children have access to quality education, proper nutrition, and a safe environment, so they can reach their full potential. Therefore, Child Rights and You (CRY) has been working towards helping children achieve their dreams and providing them with the childhoods they truly deserve.

Our Work:

CRY currently operates 144 projects in 20 states and 118 districts, including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Chennai. We collaborate with grassroots project partners to address the pressing needs of children and bring about long-lasting change. Our key focus areas include:

• Education: We conduct awareness drives to highlight the importance of education and ensure that all children are enrolled in school.
• Protection: We prevent child marriage and child labour by creating awareness about the harmful effects of these practices. Additionally, we connect families with MNREGA job opportunities.
• Health and Nutrition: We ensure children receive timely vaccinations and sufficient nutrition by connecting them to government healthcare services.

Our Impact in 2023-24:

• 21,14,322 children impacted overall
• 2,33,967 children in school
• 1,04,683 children are a part of the children’s collectives and have an independent voice
• 47,463 children benefitted from digital learning through CRY’s Support Centres
• 7,605 kitchen gardens set up across 12 states, as a sustainable solution towards nutrition

As part of increased transparency and to prevent fraudulent claims, the revised Income Tax Act 1961 and the Foreign Contribution Regulations (FCRA) now require all NGOs to submit a Statement of Donations as Form 10BD annually before May 31st.
