Here’s The Impact You Helped Us Create In 2021-22 For Our Children

As we look back, the year gone by was tough for every one of us and children were the unseen victims of the situation. However, during these unprecedented times, when everything looked impossible, your generosity and contribution helped us transform the lives of 9 lac children across 19+ states in India by helping them continue their education while protecting them from malnutrition, child marriage and child labour.

With this, many new initiatives were introduced to bring a positive impact on the lives of India's underprivileged children.

Ensuring learning continuity through digital devices -

As the pandemic compelled schools to adapt to digital learning, many children could not continue their education due to a lack of connectivity and access to digital devices. To address the issue, CRY worked towards ensuring learning continuity through digital tablets in remote villages.

Academic support sessions through digital media van -

To help children cope with the long education gap, CRY introduced a digital multimedia van. This van has technological resources like projectors, and tablets to conduct engaging academic support sessions that help boost children's interest in studies.

Psychosocial care to help children cope with anxiety -

CRY has been focusing on the personal development of children that was neglected during the pandemic. The initiative helps safeguard children's mental health and ensures their confidence and thinking abilities continue to grow.

Sustainable nutrition through home-grown kitchen gardens -

To address children's dietary needs, in the absence of mid-day school meals, CRY helped enable home-grown kitchen gardens in different states. The program aims to provide a sustainable solution for children's nutritional needs that helps them lead healthier lives.
