The volunteer group of CRY London organised a Diwali celebration on 23 October, 2004 at The Litten Tree pub at Victoria in London. The pub was decorated with lights, chunnis and traditional rangoli. There was some sumptuous Indian food along with some Indian mithais to tickle the taste buds. The mood was set by a dance performance by Nikita. This was followed by Nikita teaching the amateur participants to dance to the tune of Bollywood music. The live dhol performance and some great Bollywood music played by DMC DJs got everyone moving and shaking on the dance floor.

There were more than 175 participants dressed in their best silks. The funds raised from this party would support project Prayas in the state of Rajasthan. This event was sponsored by the ISPAT group.
